Lucifer Valentine

Lucifer Valentine (born April 11, 1973 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian editor, visual effects artist, director, and musician. He has been nominated for three Emmy Awards for his work in television, including twice in the Outstanding Title Design category. In the mid to late 2000s, he was part of the creative teams behind the opening title sequences for The Grid and True Blood as a title designer and editor, respectively. As a filmmaker, he is best known for his work in the extreme cinema subgenre under the pseudonym Lucifer Valentine, including the surrealist exploitation horror film Slaughtered Vomit Dolls and its sequels. As a musician, he was the guitarist, vocalist, and co-founder of the Winnipeg-based noise rock band Kittens. The band was originally active from 1992 to 1998 and performed two reunion shows in 2006.
