The story takes place in Country A, where the male protagonist, Zhao Jian, leads his Black Wolf Squad to escort goods for General Chachai of Country A. On the way, they encounter an ambush by guerrillas. Zhao Jian captures the female guerrilla leader, Zhang Ling, and learns that the Black Wolf Squad is not transporting humanitarian goods but materials for human experimentation. General Chachai, driven by personal greed, is conducting experiments on humans. Zhang Ling requests the Black Wolf Squad's help but is refused.
