A biographical picture about the fate of the commander of the Airborne Forces, Hero of the Soviet Union, Army General Vasily Filippovich Margelov. The film covers the period from the forties to the seventies of the twentieth century. This is both the fiery wartime of the Finnish and Great Patriotic Wars, and the post-war period, when the legendary commander created modern Airborne troops. The film is based on the serial film "Paratrooper Dad", which has become a cult among the paratroopers.
