Ali, a well-intentioned young man, has fallen in love with Fatma, who lives in the same town. Fatma's father, who wants a dowry for his daughter, wants to give her away through an auction. Alaeddin, who has come from Germany, also expresses his desire to marry Fatma. Fatma's father, Fevzi, gives his daughter to Alaeddin with a dowry of 450,000 TL.
